PACIFICA LITERARY REVIEW

2014-2016
MANAGING FICTION EDITOR

The man who came out of the crowd was his son. Eric was aware of Hans standing below him. And he thought of the people in this city, people without common sense of the world. And he wished his children were far from here and that his son was not watching him struggle against the gravity of this life. – In Violent Protection

After my short story, In Violent Protection, was selected for publication by Pacifica, I was invited to join the editorial team.

After working on one issue, I became to the managing fiction editor and worked with a team of five writers to publish six issues of the journal. I organized numerous readings and writing competitions, created brand consistency through a website refresh and asset organization, and fostered partnerships to expand the reach of this Seattle-based literary journal.
