MORE COMFORT
2014
THE CHAPEL, SOLOIST
CITY ARTS

We are entirely endless in this world wide, touching nothing so much as we touch our language.
– More Comfort

In collaboration with Seattle composer Nat Evans and a team of lens-based artists, I performed as part of a new work for chamber ensemble, field recordings, spoken text and a series of videos. More Comfort explores the evolution of our relation to different screens in our lives, mobile devices and televisions as a hearth place, and the nature of our contemporary interactions and language. Videos presented were by artist Rodrigo Valenzuela with additional video curation by Julia Greenway.
